Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee and UN Development Program (UNDP) in Vietnam held a talk about the public administration and performance in Binh Dinh.

A conference on Binh Dinh’s public administration and performance index (PAPI) 2011 took place in Quy Nhon city on November 8.

The provincial-leveled PAPI is a tool to measure and monitor the effectiveness of the state administration system basing on the people’s experience and perception.

With the point of 38.46, Binh Dinh’s PAPI belongs to groups of provinces getting the highest point in 2011. However, the province is still far from the maximum point of 60, according to the UNDP representative, which also suggested three sets of proposals for Binh Dinh.
