20 tons of fresh vegetable grown by farmers in Phu Phong town and Luat Chanh hamlet have been sold out since late 2011, according to the province’s management unit for sustainalbe rural livelihood project.
The vegetable are all grown, following the Vietnamese Good Agriculture Practices (VietGAP) standards which require growers and processors must follow instructions for growing and producing clean fruit to comply with hygienic, environmental and origin regulations.
The project management unit will continue supporting the farmers to maintain their production as well as expand the production scale, meeting the consumers’ demand.
