Women honored on their day

Provincial Vice Chairman Ho Quoc Dung extends greetings to Binh Dinh Women’s Union on the occasion of Int’l Women’s Day.

Binh Dinh Province’s Vice Chairman Ho Quoc Dung visited and extended greetings to the leaders and staff of provincial Women’s Union on March 7, on the occasion of International Women’s Day (March 8).

Dung acknowledged the union’s achievements and expressed the hope that it would fulfill all tasks in the new term of 2011-2016.

On the same day, Binh Dinh Association for the Blind held a meeting with blind women, reviewing Vietnamese women’s patriotic tradition and announcing a campaign to help blind women integrate into the community.

In Tuy Phuoc district, the public security’s women association organized an anniversary, marking the event and the Hai Ba Trung’s (Trung Sisters) Uprising. On this occasion, it launched an emulation movement, aiming to help underprivileged children to study well.

On the occasion of Women’s Day, the city’s public security women association also visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dang Thi Thanh whose son sacrificed in the anti-American resistance war.
