The province’s agricultural sector asked the veterinary department and local authorities to support farmers to carry out measures preventing the risk of foot and mouth epidemic and poultry bird flu.
The veterinary force at grass roots level has also vaccinated poultry and cattle since March 1. Alongside this, the relevant bodies instructed the construction of cattle slaughterhouse at Tran Quang Dieu ward and increased the number of staff at quarantine checkpoints.
