Local people donate their blood on April 7

At the meeting, provincial vice chairman Mai Thanh Thang praised the results related to the volunteer blood donation campaign, calling for all local people to voluntarily donate their blood to save other people.

Separately, the province’s volunteer blood donation board Saturday held a meeting to review the blood donation campaign in 2011 and 2012’s tasks.

According to the report, there were more than 20,000 blood donators last year. Many bodies were honored for fulfilling the target of blood donation, such as provincial Labor Union, Quy Nhon University, Quy Nhon Vocational Training College, and districts of Hoai An and Tay Son.

Over 650 people working at Binh Dinh Medical College and provincial Labor Union donated their blood on the occasion.
