Ecosystem services project kicks off
8:4', 9/4/ 2012 (GMT+7)

The ecosystem services project is expected to reduce the vulnerability of the poor to the impacts of climate change in Quy Nhon’s suburbs, via the restoration of the ecosystem of mangrove swamp at Thi Nai lagoon.

A seminar on the project took place in Quy Nhon on April 6. Binh Dinh People’s Committee and the province’s Climate Change Coordination Office will be in charge of the project.

Experts will carry out the survey to evaluate the mangrove forest in April and May. The afforestation will be implemented for the second year since the first to the fourth quarter of 2013, let alone other related issues in the same period.
