Quy Nhon, Hue coordinates in doctor training

Binh Dinh provincial Chairman Le Huu Loc (L) presents a certificate of merit to Hue College of Medicine and Pharmacy for its contribution to the province’s medical manpower training.

Hue College of Medicine and Pharmacy will assist Quy Nhon College to establish a Medical Department in the coming time.

Binh Dinh’s delegation led by provincial Chairman Le Huu Loc paid a working visit to Hue’s college on April 9. Loc said the province planned to coordinate with Paris 7 university to open a medical department at Quy Nhon College, aiming to meet the province’s demand for doctors. He thus asked Hue College to help Quy Nhon College in the doctor training.

Statistics showed that, there are 759 doctors in Binh Dinh; however, a number of 681 doctors are required by 2020, under the PM’s Decision on the development of Vietnam health system.
