3 bn VND to upgrade Nhon Binh dyke

Binh Dinh will invest 3 billion VND in repairing a length of 450 meters of Nhon Binh dyke this year, ensuring the safety ahead of the upcoming rainy season.

According Phan Xuan Hai, chief of the province’s flood prevention, dyke, and irrigation work division, the financial assistance is from the fund financed by the local budget as well as the Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development.

The division has upgraded many dykes in the eastern area in the past few years.
