5,060 poor households across Binh Dinh Province were selected to join the breeding insurance program, said vice director of Bao Minh Insurance Company’s Binh Dinh branch.
The company coordinated with local authorities to select beneficiaries in 9 communes of Hoai Son, Hoai My, Hoai Tan, Binh Nghi, Binh Tuong, Binh Hoa, Nhon Loc, Nhon Khanh, and Nhon An.
Under the program, the participating households will be supported with the insurance fee. The animals selected for the breeding program include pig and cow. Also, threats from natural disasters and epidemic diseases will also be guaranteed.
