The city leaders Wednesday (May 2) extended greetings to Buddhist dignitaries in Quy Nhon city, on the occasion of the Lord Buddha’s 2556th birthday (2012).
The leaders expressed the hope that the dignitaries would further encourage monks, nuns and followers to actively join hand in socio-economic development and national unity.
The Buddhist dignitaries expressed thanks to provincial leaders and bodies for their concern, confirming that province’s Buddhist dignitaries and followers will continue contributing to the country’s development under the motto of “Dharma-Nation-Socialism.”
In An Nhon district, the local authorities also visited and presented gifts to Buddhist dignitaries in the districts on this occasion.
