An event, marking the 125th death anniversary of the patriot Mai Xuan Thuong, took place on May 5 at Mai Xuan Thuong historical relic located in Binh Tuong commune of Tay Son district.

The participants reviewed the nation’s glorious tradition as well as Mai Xuan Thuong’s contributions in the Can Vuong (aid the king) movement against the French annexation.
The event is also aimed at educating the patriotism among people, particularly the youth, encouraging all to fulfill the socio-economic task in 2012.
