Integrated Rural Development Sector Project in the Central Provinces, Binh Dinh province has been on the right track, says Binh Dinh Department of Agriculture & Rural Development.
The project has 7 irrigation sub-projects and 2 transportation sub-projects with total 293.73 billion VND of investment capital.
The irrigation sub-projects include: Improve and upgrade My Binh reservoir and build up anti-erosion dyke along northern area of Lai river, phase I (at Hoai Nhon district); reinforce key canal along Nui Mot lake (at An Nhon town); repair and upgrade Tra O irrigation system (at Phu My district); reinforce canal along Van Hoi (at Hoai An district); reinforce N1 Thuan Ninh canal (at Tay Son district); repair and upgrade reservoirs of Hoc Cau, Cua Khau (at Phu Cat district). The 2 transportation sub-projects are: upgrade road connecting 2 communes of An Duc – An My (at Hoai An district) and another road connecting 2 communes of My Hiep- My Trinh (at Phu Cat district).
All the 9 sub-projects have been so far assigned to building contractors and the contractors have implemented the construction. 6 of 9 sub-projects have been basically finished and are expected to be ready for checking before putting into operation.
The contractors are hastening progress rate of the 3 sub-projects: reinforce key canal along Nui Mot lake; reinforce N1 Thuan Ninh canal and build up anti-erosion dyke along northern area of Lai river. The 3 are expected to finish by the end of this year.
