Among 9 artists in Binh Dinh honored by the Central Council for Emulation and Reward, 4 were bestowed the title of People’s Artist and 5 were honored with the title of Meritorious Artist.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Tuesday (May 15) announced the State President’s Decision on Ho Chi Minh Award, State Award for Art and Literature and titles of People’s Artist and Meritorious Artist.
Four artists include Hoai Hue, Xuan Hoi Minh Ngoc, Hoang Phuong Thao while five artists receiving Meritorious Artist title are Pham Ngoc Chau, Nguyen Thi Thanh Su, Dinh Thi Kim Thanh, Nguyen Gia Thien, Huynh Thi Kim Chau.
According to the statement, twelve people were honored with Ho Chi Minh Award, 128 people received State Award, 73 were named as People’s Artists, and 356 became Meritorious Artists.
