Binh Dinh People’s Council’s monitoring groups Monday held a meeting with Departments of Natural Resources and Environment (DoNRE) and Construction, focusing on the implementation of resolutions on land usage.
The report said DoNRE asked provincial People’s Committee to allocate nearly 1,500 hectares of land for 113 projects, let alone an area of 1,470 hectares was leased to 228 projects.
The Department of Construction asked provincial People’s Committee to plan and make additional adjustment over the overall planning of urban and rural residential areas by 2020. However, some plannings haven’t met the socio-economic development.
The monitoring group asked DoNRE to continue getting details of violations of land acquisition, such as land encroachment and business-related misuse of land.
The group also noticed that the land lease must be in harmony with the detailed planning of land use and construction. The functional bodies were asked to minimize the land allocation and land lease for manufacturers separately located outside industrial zones and firmly revoke the investment certificates granted for investors who misuse land or implement projects slowly.
