Cultural exchange celebrates Vietnam-Lao relations

An art exchange performance entitled “Vietnam-Laos Friendship Relations – Lasting brotherhood” took place at Quy Nhon University on May 19.

Addressing at the event, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People's Committee Mai Thanh Thang said the event was a practical activity to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship and Cooperation Treaty and the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam-Laos diplomatic ties. The Vietnam-Laos Friendship will be constantly unshakeable.

Besides performances praising the Uncle Ho and the homeland shown by Vietnamese students, some others featuring the traditional characters of Laos culture were performed by Laos’s students who are learning at Quy Nhon University.

Also, 10 Lao students who got excellent academic achievements were presented gifts on the occasion.
