The sustainable forest management and restoration project (KfW6) has been carried out in Hoai Nhon district since 2006, covering more than 1,964 hectares.

The district’s management unit also built a community-based model of forest protection, minimizing the risk of destroying the forest and preventing a total of 1,708 hectares from being damaged.

The result of KfW6 project was announced during the inspection tour carried out by provincial Vice Chairwoman Tran Thi Thu Ha on May 23.

She highly valued the implementation of the project, noticing that the management unit should extend the community-based model of forest protection, helping local people to benefit from the sustainable forestry livelihood.
