Medical test, surgery for disabled children to begin in June

The medical test and surgery program for eye-impaired children is scheduled to start next month, according to the Department of Health.

The test will be implemented from June 25-29 in districts of Phu My, Phu Cat, Tay Son, Hoai Nhon, Tuy Phuoc and Binh Dinh Eye Hospital ,while the surgery program is expected to take place at the Eye Hospital from July 18-24.

The Fred Hollows Foundation-funded program is co-organized by Department of Health and Departments of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
