More than 1,000 biogas works were built in An Nhon town and districts of Tay Son, Hoai An, Tuy Phuoc, Hoai Nhon, Phu My, An Lao and Vinh Thanh this year.
Under the biogas program for the animal husbandry sector, Binh Dinh also saw the construction of 1,040 biogas works last year.
The province’s project management unit coordinated with provincial People’s Committee to open training courses for technicians to support the program.
Also, the local authorities and beneficiaries have frequently monitored the construction process and the technical transfer after the works were completed.
As an agricultural province, Binh Dinh sees strong growth in animal husbandry sector. The biogas works have, thus, contributed to minimize the environmental pollution and the use of chemical fertilizer in their production.
