14:4', 6/6/ 2012 (GMT+7)

A meeting was held in An Nhon town on June 5, marking the World Environment Day entitled “Does the Green Economy include you?” and International Year on Sustainable Energy.

In Binh Dinh, the expansion of economic zones, industrial zones and craft villages has partly promoted the province’s socio-economic development. However, they have also caused the environmental pollution and the misuse of natural resources.

Provincial Vice Chairman Ho Quoc Dung called for all provincial bodies to actively respond to the World Environment Day and International Year on Sustainable Energy, focusing on the field of green economy and the use of environmentally friendly technology and products.

At the meeting, the participants launched a movement to protect the environment and respond to the events.
