A reporter was honored for his excellent articles

A meeting was held in Quy Nhon city yesterday (June 21), celebrating the 87th anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day.

Reporters and members of Vietnam Journalists’ Association attended the meeting, reviewing the development of the mass media in Vietnam in the past 87 years. Different forms of the mass media have been set up since Thanh Nien, the first newspaper of Vietnam’s Revolutionary, was born on June 21,1925.

The province’s mass media, including Binh Dinh Newspaper, Binh Dinh Broadcasting Station, and other magazines, have greatly contributed to the local socio-economic development through news and articles honoring positive factors as well as critisizing negative aspects in the society.

Provincial Vice Chairman Mai Thanh Thang highly appreciated the contribution of the mass media, asking all to better fulfill their role in the coming time.

On this occasion, reporters who have excellent articles were also honored.
