The Norwegian Red Cross-funded community-based disaster risk reduction (DRR) project was fully reviewed after being implemented for 6 months in Binh Dinh.

The project was highly valued as it has brought many benefits to localities and people participating in the project.

Under the program, 200 volunteers coming from three districts of Hoai An, Phu Cat and Tuy Phuoc attended 6 training courses. The project also offered learn-how-to-swim courses to 80 primary students as well as delivered different facilities to primary schools at 10 communes of 3 districts.

A total of more than 3 billion VND has been poured into its components in Binh Dinh since early this year.
