A seminar on capacity building for activities in gender equality was held in Quy Nhon city yesterday (July 17).
Local authorities have created favorable conditions for programs for women’s advances in the past 10 years. Under the programs, all under-40 women were literate and 95 percent was able to access health services.
The event also saw the implementation for relevant activities in the 2011-2015 period, introduced the law on gender equality, and decrees on implementing the law.
