A ceremony marking the 65th anniversary of War Invalid and Martyrs’ Day was held in Quy Nhon city of Binh Dinh province on July 26.

Delivering a speech at the ceremony, provincial Chairman Le Huu Loc hailed more than 30,000 martyrs and 25,000 war invalids and veterans in Binh Dinh for their contribution to the country’s liberation.
Loc also said that relevant bodies have fully implemented all policies prioritizing social beneficiaries in the province.
Veteran Thai Anh Kia, who was bestowed the title “Hero of the People’s Armed Forces”, said that the Party and State’s concern is the driving force for revolutionary veterans to overcome difficulties, become examples in patriotic movements, and follow Party and State’s policies.
On behalf of the young generation, Secretary of Binh Dinh’s Youth Union Nguyen Tuan Thanh expressed their gratitude for the contribution war invalids and martyrs made.
