Salavan delegation pays working visit to Binh Dinh

Laos’ Salavan province delegation headed by its Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee Buathon Kunnhotbannha Tuesday paid a working visit to Binh Dinh Province’s People Committee.

Receiving the delegation, provincial Chairman Le Huu Loc briefed them on the province’s socio-economic situation as well as cooperation relationship between two provinces.

Under the agreement for the 2012-2016 period, Binh Dinh will support Salavan in the field of agriculture and provide scholarships for Salavan’s students studying Vietnamese at Quy Nhon University.

Two provinces also signed some cooperation deals in fields of trade, health, culture, sport, tourism and investment.

The visit took place amid activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos, and the 35th anniversary of the signing of the Friendship Treaty between the two countries.
