Chairman of Binh Dinh Province People's Committee, Vu Hoang Ha, on November 22 held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Bui Ba Bong. Permanent Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Province People's Committee, Nguyen Van Thien, and leaders of Binh Dinh Department of Agriculture and Rural Development attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Chairman Ha and Vice Chairman Thien briefed on provincial social-economic situation in the past ten months, damages caused by floods, and preparations for the winter-spring crop 2007- 2008.
Provincial leaders suggested that Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development aid Binh Dinh in helping flood victims.
Addressing at the meeting, Deputy Minister Bong highly appreciated Binh Dinh's efforts in overcoming the damage. He also asked for the special attention to the rice seeds and drugs for animals.
Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development would soon submit reports on damage in Binh Dinh for the PM's approval to aid Binh Dinh in overcoming the flood damage, added Bong.
