Vice Chairman Loc receives Vietnam Red Cross leaders

Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Province People's Committee, Le Huu Loc, on November 27 held a meeting with Assoc. Prof.Dr Phung Van Hoan, Deputy General Secretary of Vietnam Red Cross at the head office of Binh Dinh Province People's Committee.

The visit aimed at knowing more about the activities of provincial Red Cross in aiding flood victims, discussing the cooperation between Vietnam Red Cross and Binh Dinh Province People's Committee in running charitable programs, such as: the makeshift house removal, or poverty-alleviation.

On the same day, representatives of Vietnam Red Cross sent relief to flood victims in communes of Phuoc Hoa and Cat Chanh.

Vietnam Red Cross had also sent relief including 1,000 packages of home facilities and 78 tons of rice to flood-hit areas in Binh Dinh.
