Binh Dinh Sponsor Association for Disabled and Orphans on December 3 held a meeting for the disabled and sponsors on the occasion of International Day of Disable Persons (December 3).
15 disable people who overcame difficulties in life and 10 sponsors actively helping the disabled and orphans in Binh Dinh were praised at the meeting.
In 2007, Binh Dinh Sponsor Association for Disabled and Orphans has carried out many charitable activities, helping the disabled and orphans to have stable lives and jobs. More than VND2 billion has been raised for the fund for the disabled and orphans.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of Binh Dinh Province People's Committee, Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh, asked bodies and agencies and individuals to assist them in gaining equal rights.
