Vice President visits Binh Dinh

A delegation, headed by Vice State President Nguyen Thi Doan, visited Binh Dinh on December 11.

At the reception, provincial leaders stated the Binh Dinh's socio-economic development in 2007 and flooding in some Districts. They asked the Government for more expenditure for aiding flood victims, construction of re-settlement areas, and irrigation projects.

Vice President Doan highly appreciated Binh Dinh's effort in the socio-economic development and flood control. She also acknowledged provincial leaders' suggestions.

She visited flood-hit areas and gave relief to households badly affected by floods. Vice President Doan asked local authorities to pay more attention to the people's lives, helping disadvantaged families overcome difficulties.
