On the occasion of the 63 rd founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 – December 22, 2007) and the all-people's National Defence Day, Binh Dinh Military Steering Committee on December 21 held a meeting for those who were military officials, heroes of the people's armed forces, and heroic Vietnamese Mothers.
Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thanh, and Permanent Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Province People's Committee Nguyen Van Thien attended the meeting.
At the meeting, commander of provincial military steering committee, Colonel Hoang Ngoc Tuyen, reminisced traditions of Vietnamese military in the past 63 years and praised achievements.
He emphasized that Binh Dinh's armed forces would uphold traditions of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", contributing to the career of building and protecting the country.
