VND130 mln donated to households owned by women

VND130 million will be donated to households owned by women in Binh Dinh to help them overcome the damage caused by floods, announced the "Canada Fund for local initiative" run by Canada Embassy.

Canada Embassy and Vietnam Women's Union donated VND1.5 billion to 11 cities and provinces nationwide to help households owned by women to overcome difficulties in the aftermath of the 2007's floods.

Also, on this occasion, the general director of Dien Quang Light Bulb Joint Stock Company donated VND100 million to disadvantaged households owned by women in some localities.
