On the occasion of 82^nd anniversary of the Vietnam Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21,  2007), in the afternoon of June 20, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Committee of the Party Pham Van Thanh visited Binh Dinh Newspaper, Binh Dinh Journalists' Association, Representative Offices of Thanh Nien Newspaper and Vietnam News Agency in Binh Dinh province and congratulated all the staff.

In the warmly talk with leaders, journalists and other civil servants of Binh Dinh Newspaper and Binh Dinh Journalists' Association, Mr Thanh confirmed that the Party and State always highly appreciate the role of the Press in the course of the national industrialization and modernization. He acknowledged and praised the endeavor and effort of journalists working in Binh Dinh province as well as in Binh Dinh Newspaper and their contribution to the provincial development in all fields. He called on Binh Dinh Newspaper's staff to strive more to make Binh Dinh newspaper better and better, deserving the voice of Binh Dinh province's Party Committee, Government and People.

Also in yesterday afternoon, Vice Chairwoman of Binh Dinh province's People Committee, Nguyen Thanh Binh visited Binh Dinh Broadcasting and Telecasting Station and the Representative Office of Tuoi Tre Newspaper in Binh Dinh province.

Mrs Binh highly appreciated the large contribution of Binh Dinh Broadcasting and Telecasting Station's journalists and technicians to the culture-thinking field and eco-socio development of the province. She called on the Station's staff to continue to improve the quality of aired programmes.

On this occasion, Vietnam Broadcasting Station offered the Campaign Medal "For the Vietnam Broadcasting Career" to provincial leaders, including provincial Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of province's People Council - Nguyen Xuan Duong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of provincial Committee of the Party - Pham Van Thanh, Vice Chairwoman of  the provincial People’s Committee - Nguyen Thanh Binh and former Chief of provincial Department of propaganda and training - Hoang Nhu Y.
