Vice-Chairwoman of Binh Dinh province People’s Committee, Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh, on June 25 granted Nguyen Chi Hieu the certificate of merit and the reward, a Le Quy Don gifted high school’s alumnus, as he won the ‘A level Student of the Year’ award in the London School of Economics and Political Science and were offered five scholarships for the PhD course at one of five world-leading universities.
On behalf of Binh Dinh People’s Committee, Mrs. Binh congratulated Hieu, who is still abroad now, and his family. This is not only the joy of his family but of the whole students in Binh Dinh, and the provincial People’s Committee acknowledged his achievements in studying, she added.
Hieu’s father, Nguyen Tong, thanked the provincial People’s Committee for the timely encouragement and said that it would encourage Hieu to study better.
