Binh Dinh: Many activities respond to War Invalids and Martyrs Day

Various activities have been launched in many localities in Binh Dinh to mark the 60th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27,1947 – July 27, 2007).

The chief of the Ministry of Public Security’s general department No III, major general Le Quy Vuong; the director of Binh Dinh Public Security Department, Colonel Che Truong and local authorities on June 26 granted the houses of gratitude to Mrs. Huynh Thi Hen at Tan Thanh 1 hamlet, Hoai Hao commune, Hoai Nhon district and Mrs. Dang Thi Lieu at Phu My Bac hamlet, My Loi commune, Phu My district.

Also, on this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security supported the expenditure to build 18 houses of gratitude, worth VND25 million each for policy families in the People’s public security force. In Tuy Phuoc district, Phuoc Loc commune’s People’s Committee repaired the house in commemoration and martyrs’ cemeteries.

Tuy Phuoc-based military division No 31 also supported VND30 million to build a house of gratitude for Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ly at Binh An 1 hamlet of Phuoc Thanh commune. Under the plan, the house is to be used on July 27 this year.

Quy Nhon Co.op Mart in coordination with the provincial Red Cross and An Lao Red Cross had held the visit “Ve nguon” (return to the historic locations) and presented 130 gifts to Bana ethnic minorities at the An Toan commune.
