Binh Dinh Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Welfare on July 10 held a press conference to announce activities on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2007).
Accordingly, from now to the 27th of July, there will be many activities held to mark the 60th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day. The typical organizations and individuals of the “Gratitude” movement in Binh Dinh will attend the conference held in Ho Chi Minh City to honour those who have supported and worked for the benefit of war invalids, the families of martyrs and those who have contributed to the revolution; the relatives of revolutionary martyrs whose tombs are at the Truong Son martyrs’ cemetery will visit this place; the provincial delegation will visit and present gifts to four military healthcare organizations, including the military hospital No 13, the policlinic K 200, the policlinic of provincial public security, and Quy Nhon Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Center. The local authorities will also visit the Quy Nhon Martyrs’ Cemetery and hold the meeting to mark the 60th anniversary of Day for War Invalids and Martyrs.
