Binh Dinh Province solemnly marked the 60th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyr’s Day

Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee solemnly marked the 60th anniversary of War Invalids and Fallen Soldiers Day in the evening July 26. Leaders of the provincial Committee of the Party and People’s Council, People’s Committee, Vietnamese Fatherland Front in Binh Dinh Province, formers provincial leaders, Heroes of the people's armed forces, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, representatives of provincial departments, bodies and agencies attended the meeting.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thien, Standing Vice-Chairman of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee briefed implement the direction of Ho Chi Minh President for invalids and families of fallen combatants during 60 years ago, showing deep gratitude towards Vietnamese loyal soldiers has fallen for the cause of Vietnamese Communist Party and People.

According to the report, Binh Dinh Province Party Committee carried out good its duty to take cake of spiritual and physical life for war invalids, sick soldiers, families of fallen soldiers, etc.

On this occasion, Mr. Thien also urged the civil sectors, companies and individuals to positively carry out socio-economic preferential policies for veterans and their families as well as “Show gratitude towards veterans”movements.

* In the morning July 26, Binh Dinh Province People's Committee organized a conference to briefed implement the government preferential ordinance for effected people (1994-2006). Speaking at the conference, Mrs Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh, Vice-Chairwoman of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee highly appreciated the achievements during 12 year ago.

* In the afternoon July 26, provincial leaders, representatives of provincial departments, bodies and agencies thurified at Quy Nhon City martyrs' cemetery to commemorate heroic martyrs who died in national glorious revolutions.

* At the same day, a provincial leaders delegation led by Mr Nguyen Xuan Duong, Chairman of Binh Dinh province People’s Council to visit and give portion of gifts to the  provincial medical treatment units where treat and bring up invalids and sick solders. The units are 13th military hospital (the 5th Military Zone), Policlinic K200 (Binh Dinh Provincial Military Headquarters), Quy Nhon City Orthopedic Centre, Infirmary of Binh Dinh Province Police.
