Tay Son district People’s Committee of Binh Dinh province on September 18 coordinated with Binh Tan commune to hold the ceremony, marking the 42th anniversary of Thuan Ninh victory (September 18, 1965 – 2007).
The regular army of Region Five and local guerrillas bravely defeated the American army, including over 200 soldiers and 11 planes at Thuan Ninh 42 years ago.
After the liberation, Binh Tan has been a poor commune, but thanks to the support from the program No.135, the commune’s economy is now developing, the people’s lives become more stable, and they absolutely believe in the Party’s renovation (Doi moi) process.
