Q: We realized that pupils were very happy owing to Yamaha’s presents. Could you tell us more about the program?

A: I’m also very happy to be here on the occasion of presenting educational facilities to primary school pupils in Binh Dinh at the beginning of  the new academic year. This is a Yamaha Motor Vietnam’s annual program held nationwide. Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd has presented 1,245,897 educational facilities worth VND41.7 billion to primary school pupils in 12 provinces and cities in Vietnam since 2003.

In 2007, Yamaha Motor Vietnam has presented 335,897 educational facilities worth VND11.3 billion to Soc Son District of Ha Noi, provinces of Nghe An, An Giang, and Binh Dinh.

There are 92,795 educational facilities presented to pupils in Binh Dinh. In the formal and joyful atmosphere of the ceremony, we handed presents over to representative of Hoang Quoc Viet primary school. The rest will be sent to other primary schools via provincial Educational and Training Department.

Through the program, Yamaha Vietnam hopes to improve pupils’ studying conditions, teaming up for Vietnam’s educational socialized career. Pupils will be the owner of the future. We, therefore, wish them to have a bright future.

Q: Yamaha Motor Vietnam has been well-known for many community activities. Could you talk about their significance.

A: Yamaha Vietnam Co., Ltd is one of leading joint-ventures in producing motorcycles in Vietnam. Together with the company’s sustainable development, Yamaha Motor Vietnam has been tried its utmost to become an active member in Vietnamese community.

With the motto “Customer satisfaction and community development”, we have tried to improve the residents’ living-standard in the area around the Soc Son-based factory. We also created jobs for 3,100 people, helping them have a stable life.

By participating in many socialized activities, the image of Yamaha has become familiar with Vietnamese people nationwide. The program of presenting educational facilities is one of Yamaha’s activities.
