Two vocational training centers in An Nhon and Tay Son Districts have fully operated, providing the vocational training for rural laborers to meet demands of newly-established industrial zones at localities.
Two vocational training centers are allowed to provide vocational training and vocational-relating services for people. Those who graduate from the centers will be create conditions to find suitable jobs.
An Nhon vocational training center has opened four courses since early June. Those who are attending these courses include poor people and rural laborers. Statistics showed that most graduates found suitable jobs in their localities.
Rural laborers haven’t been well aware of the vocational training because most of them still want to earn money immediately by doing something rather than attending a vocational course, said director of An Nhon vocational training center, Nguyen Van Hung.
We had to come to each commune to mobilize the young to attend vocational courses. Also, we also introduced policies and courses to laborers to help them well understand the importance of vocational training, he added.
With new vocational equipment and newly-upgraded infrastructure, An Nhon center is expected to expand types of courses and attract more rural people.
Tay Son vocational training center has operated since May. 180 people were trained here. Most of them are poor people and ethnic minorities.
The establishment of vocational training center created favorable conditions for young people in rural areas to attend vocational courses, according to Le Van Nghinh, director of Tay Son vocational training center.
After attending vocational courses, laborers found suitable jobs. Enterprises also recruited qualified workers. We planned to expand some new courses to meet all demands, Nghinh said.
