Binh Dinh People’s Committee has approved the action program on accident and injury prevention in the community till 2010, aiming to reduce the rate of accidents and injuries.
Under the plan, activities for accidents and injuries and first aid transportation will be set up in all Districts and cities until 2010.
The program has five measures, including information and education activities to enhance the community’s awareness, observation network for accidents and injuries, first aid improvement, medical staff enhancement, and safety models in the community.
Statistics showed that there are annually 18-20 thousands injuries, including 300 deaths in Binh Dinh.
