Binh Dinh Department of Health on October 7 held a meeting on the malaria prevention and projects of the national target program.

Reports stated that the malaria prevention and projects of the national program reaped considerable results in the first nine months.

The vaccination program for children has been in progress and the food safety management was also focused.

Many programs have been effectively carried out. The number of malaria-infected cases reduced. The insect observation was conducted in Quy Nhon city and Districts of An Nhon, Tay Son, Hoai Nhon, Phu Cat, Phu My, Tuy Phuoc, and Vinh Thanh.

Reports also showed that the malaria prevention and projects still have some disadvantages, badly affecting the results.

Also, the operation of local bodies lacked close cooperation.

At the meeting, participants talked about measures to strengthen the management and training, aiming to improve the quality of the malaria prevention and projects of the national target program.
