A ceremony responding to the “Trans-Vietnam coastal walk” with the theme “Protecting children and maintaining environment” was held in Quy Nhon city on Oct. 23.

Provincial Vice Chairman Le Huu Loc, other leaders, and 500 Youth Union members attended the ceremony.

After the ceremony, participants walked together along Nguyen Hue-Xuan Dieu-An Duong Vuong streets, planting trees at Quy Nhon Children Park.

The coastal walk is the second part of a program named “Itinerary for Vietnam”, which was kicked off in early July 2008, carrying messages about love and share in protecting children and the environment.

The delegation will walk through 28 coastal provinces and cities. The walk plans to finish by November 18 in Quang Ninh province.
