About 130,000 USD invested in diarrhoea prevention

A seminar on strengthening the child diarrhoea prevention project in Binh Dinh was held on October 30.

Binh Dinh Department of Health, Nha Trang Pasteur Institute, and PATH, a U.S.-based nonprofit, nongovernmental organization, held the seminar.

PATH-sponsored project on strenthening the child diarrhoea prevention will be conducted in 2009-2010 with the capital of nearly 130,000 USD.

It aims to reduce the rate of diarrhoea-infected children and those who suffer from the malnutrition caused by the diarrhoea.

Binh Dinh has the high rate of patients infected with the diarrhoea, particularly children, announced provincial Deparment of Health.
