2nd ENERGY-EFFICIENT BUILDING COMPETITION 2008:
Sai Gon – Quy Nhon hotel wins first award

Sai Gon – Quy Nhon hotel won the first award in the new and existing building category in the 2nd energy-efficient building competition held by the energy saving center.

Other buildings including Six Senes Hideaway Ninh Van Bay resort (Nha Trang city) and Majestic hotel (HCM City) won “tropical building” and “retrofitted building” awards respectively.

The award-winning buildings will participate in the ASEAN’s competition. Also, they will be promoted with the “Green Building” trademark.

This year’s competition attracted 28 buildings nationwide, meeting five standards: energy-saving space design, architectural design, technical facilities design, management and maintenance, and environmental effects.
