62TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY OF VIETNAM RED CROSS:
52 typical examples honored

Binh Dinh Red Cross on November 21 held a ceremony to mark the 62th founding anniversary of Vietnam Red Cross (Nov. 23, 1946-2008).

Chairman of provincial Red Cross Dao Duy Chap reviewed the association’s traditions in the past 62 years. Many thousands of people have voluntarily joined Vietnam Red Cross to do charitable work.

Binh Dinh Red Cross has more and more developed its organisation and activities, strengthening the poverty-alleviation movement and helping those who are in need.

Also, 52 typical examples who greatly contributed to charitable activities were honored on the occasion.
