IMPE to build research building

The Ministry of Health decided to invest VND150 billion in building a research building with the aim at enhancing the scientific research and tropical disease treatment in 15 central and Central Highlands provinces, according to Dr. Trieu Nguyen Trung, head of Quy Nhon Institute of Malariology – Parasitology – Entomology.

The building will be built on an area of 24,000 sq.m in Nhon Phu ward, Quy Nhon city, including a 7-storey building, an apartment block for experts and foreign students, and an experimental zone.

The construction is expected to begin by early 2009.
