Project of strengthening community health units carried out

Binh Dinh Department of Health held a meeting on conducting the project of strengthening the community health units for the 2007-2010 period on April 24.

The Global Alliance for Vaccination and Immunization (GAVI) – sponsored project aims to develop the capacity of community health staffs, contributing to improve the people’s health.

GAVI will aid Binh Dinh with over VND8.2 million to open 5 long-term training courses and 4 short-term ones and conduct other support.

The first phase of the project has also been carried out in other 9 provinces nationwide.
