Vice Chairwoman of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh on May 14 received Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thuy, Vice Director of Vietnamese disable people integration program under Catholic Relief Services (CRS) (US).

CRS is a US non-governmental organization that has been operating in Viet Nam since 1995, assisting in fields of agriculture, health, education, and urgent aid. It aided Binh Dinh with VND1.8 billion to build houses for flood victims in 2002.

Binh Dinh was one of localities seriously affected by wars; therefore, the visit aimed to propose plans for projects carried out in Binh Dinh in the coming time, Thuy said.

Vice Chairwoman Binh thanked for CRS’s help and goodwill. She also promised to create favorable conditions for CRS’s operation in Binh Dinh.
