Entrust Fund brings positive results

Binh Dinh Department of Health and New Zealand’s International Aid and Development Agency (NZAID) held a seminar on the operation of the Health Entrust Fund Vietnam-New Zealand in Binh Dinh.

Mr James Kember, New Zealand Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary in Vietnam, Mr John Egan, NZAID’s director, director of provincial Health Department, Nguyen Van Cang, and the others attended the seminar.

At the seminar, Mr Michael Douglas, head of NZAID’s delegation briefed on the operation of Health Entrust Fund Vietnam-New Zealand in Binh Dinh in the 2003-2008 period, bringing to Binh Dinh positive results.

Participants shared experiences for its operation in the coming time, such as the management, the planning, forecast, demands, and solutions for hospitals.

The fund also needs to identify prior fields and programs as well as aims that can be reached.

As planned, Binh Dinh Health Department will cooperate with the Health Entrust Fund Vietnam-New Zealand to propose programs for the next five years and set up the project governing body.
