Vice Chairwoman of Binh Dinh province People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh and leaders of relevant bodies and agencies on June 24 held a meeting with Permanent Deputy Minister of Education and Training Banh Tien Long.

The meeting was about the preparation for the upcoming university entrance exam taking place in Binh Dinh in July.

There will be 97,077 students coming to Binh Dinh to participate in the exam held in nearly one week. 1,299 rooms for the first round (July 3, 4, and 5) and 1,156 rooms for the second round (July 8, 9, and 10) were prepared. Nearly 6,900 invigilators will take part in the entrance exam.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman Binh stated five issues that need to be paid attention to. In early April, provincial People’s Committee gave instructions on holding exams in Binh Dinh. On June 5, provincial People’s Committee, Quy Nhon University, and relevant bodies worked together for the cooperation in the July’s entrance exam.

Deputy Minister Long highly appreciated Binh Dinh’s preparations for the 2008 university entrance exam, hoping that the entrance exam would be successful.
