PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals JSC’s (PVFCCo) DPM Company cooperated with Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee to kick off the construction of 2,500 houses in 25 provinces and cities nationwide. 100 houses will be built in Binh Dinh.
DPM planned to build 5,000 houses for the poor, responding to the “Month for the poor” campaign launched by PVFCCo. DPM and other PVFCCo’s members will be in charge of the project.
This is the biggest program of building gratitude houses carried out by PVFCCo and DPM in Vietnam.
Vietnam was recognized worldwide as reaping many achievements in the poverty alleviation but many poor people have faced difficulties in building houses. DPM’s program aims to improve houses for 2,500 poor households in 25 cities and provinces nationwide, said DPM General Director, Phan Dinh Duc.
We wanted to improve the poor’s living standard nationwide because we understand that they need to live and work in peace and contentment, he added.
DPM’s project of building houses for poor households is one of its social activities for the community, showing its commitment in developing the Corp in the relationship with the community development and contributing to the poverty alleviation movement led by the Party and State.
The project is expected to last in four months (from July to November).
